For me, the quote above sums up why learning needs to be a lifelong process. Continuing professional development has played a prominent role throughout my own professional life and is a key reason I have remained motivated in my work all these years. I’ve learned that there’s a clear link between continual learning and personal confidence; my work now focuses on helping others to get the most satisfaction out of their work, while making the sustained contribution your organisation and your students expect of you.
My consultancy work brings together all my learning and development know-how and my management experience. My strength, and what I love most, is bringing about individual, team and school-wide change.
This covers private English language schools, tertiary education, the public sector and the business world. My career development path has taken me from teacher to senior manager and educational advisor, working across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and holding senior roles for the British Council and the Bell Educational Trust amongst others.
I have been in charge of ELT teams in Asia, Portugal and in the UK, and have carried out advisory roles for the British Council in performance management and continuing professional development.
Now based in Berlin, I offer consultancy and training services in the UK and overseas, either face to face or via digital learning technologies.
